Zaev, Rama and Vucic to hold a trilateral meeting in Novi Sad

North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama and Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic are set to hold a trilateral meeting in Novi Sad on Thursday.

Vucic’s Office has said the meeting will focus on networking regional markets and removing business barriers, resulting in free flow of people, goods and services.

Zaev arrived in Novi Sad on Wednesday and attended a dinner hosted by President Vucic and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.

“Any initiative in the direction of strengthening regional cooperation and speeding up the Western Balkans’ EU integration process is welcome,” Zaev said in a Facebook post.

According to Zaev, there is unused potential in regional cooperation, towards more intensive trade, flow of commodities, mobility of people, services and capital among all countries of the Western Balkans.
