Zaev: North Macedonia is not looking for an invitation to join EAEU

North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has rejected all speculations that North Macedonia had been invited to join the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) during a press conference today.
“It seems there is a protective wall around the government and we haven’t received such an invitation. We’re not looking to get one, either,” Zaev said in response to a reporter’s question about an alleged invitation for North Macedonia to join EAEU, after failing to get a start date for EU accession negotiations.
