Washington shares concern about Hoxha and Boskoski appointment

“We have communicated our concerns to the Government where we see problems with appointed officials.
U.S. officials are not precluded from dealing with individuals on the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s List of Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) and Blocked Persons.”

“The SDN list is an important tool that uses the blocking of assets and travel restrictions to accomplish U.S. foreign policy and national security goals”,, stated the US Embassy in Skopje.
