Tsipras: I encourage our neighbor to proceed with the implementation of the Prespa Agreement

“I want to send a message to our neighbors who these days are focused on their processes to initiate constitutional changes, change of their constitutional name as foreseen in the Prespa Agreement. I encourage them to proceed with determination and courage because there will be no other opportunity. I will say it here once again that Greece will not accept integration of our neighboring country in any international organizations in which we are members, in this case the EU and NATO, with the constitutional name, Republic of Macedonia,” stressed PM Tsipras.

Tsipras said that accepting Kotzias’ resignation was a difficult decision. “I have decided in the coming period to take over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This choice of mine is a choice that signalizes my determination to do everything in my power and to make sure the Prespa Agreement is successfully completed, which will improve the international standing of the country,” said Greece’s PM.
