Top officials to hold coordination meeting over Nimetz proposals
Macedonia’s top officials will hold Saturday (18:00h) a coordination meeting focusing on the framework for settlement of the name issue, proposed by United Nations envoy Matthew Nimetz on January 17 in New York.
President Gjorge Ivanov, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickovski and DUI leader Ali Ahmeti will take part at the meeting, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
UN envoy Nimetz is set to visit Greece on January 29-30 and Skopje on 31 January–February 1.
