The trial for “Trezor” continues on September 27th


The trial for the procurement of electronic communication equipment for the needs of the Fifth Administration of the Security and Counter-Intelligence Directorate for the Trezor case continues on September 27th with the presentation of material evidence to the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office.

At today’s hearing, the prosecution presents about 60 documents from over 900 proposed as material evidence.

At the defendants’ bench in the Criminal Court are the former director of the UBK Sasho Mijalkov, former head of his cabinet Toni Jakimovski and former assistant minister in the Ministry of Interior Affairs Nebojsa Stajkovic.

Prosecutor Artan Ajro began providing material evidence that “Finzi” received money from the Ministry of Interior Affairs according to an agreement worth over 124 million denars made in 2010, signed by the then Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Gjoko Popovski, and the manager of “Finzi” Vladimir Stajkovic, brother of defendant Nebojsa Stajkovic.

At the hearing, which lasted more than four hours, two Annex Agreements were presented: the first made in 2011, worth over 49 million denars, and the second in 2012, worth over three million denars, and signed by Popovski from the Ministry of Interior Affairs and Kosta Krpac as manager of “Finzi”.

According to the prosecution act with the basic contract, the budget of the Republic of Macedonia was damaged by over 13 million denars, while with the two annexes for additional 13 million and 222 thousand denars, which damaged the state for about 27 million denars.
