‘The Greek character of Macedonia’ defended in 24 cities in Greece

Greeks defended the “Greek character of Macedonia” last night in over twenty cities. The protests, organized through social networks, took place throughout Greece, from the northernmost to the southernmost region, but the central event was in Pella.

The protests were supported by some of the mayors of the cities where they were held, but also by the Metropolitans, while organized bus transportation, people from the villages or towns where there were no rallies were taken to the central squares. Except for northern Greece, there were also protests on the islands of Corfu, Rhodes and Crete.
