The body of a police officer declared missing has been found in Kosovo
Authorities in Kosovo said that the lifeless body of one of two police officers who have gone missing since the night of April 28, has been found. According to the authorities, the body of the police officer was found on Thursday around five kilometers from the place of the accident.
On 28 April, two police officers were traveling in an official car from Kacanik to Hani i Elezit, around 60 km from Pristina. The car had fallen in Lepenc river, while the causes remain unknown.
President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci has expressed his condolences for the loss of lives, while thanking the agencies involved in the ongoing search for the second police officer.
