Stefanova summoned for questioning in the “Racket” case, no details about Janeva

Special Public Prosecutor Lile Stefanova, the lead prosecutor in the “Empire” case, has been summoned for questioning on Tuesday in connection with Public Prosecutor’s “Racket” case, said Public Prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski.

Prosecutor Joveski won’t say if or when SPO’s Katica Janeva would be called in.

“As the process is confidential, and so as not to compromise the investigation the Public Prosecutor’s Office won’t reveal which actions are going to be taken or when in advance,” Joveski said. He added that everyone involved in the ‘Racket’ case would be questioned or interrogated in an unselective manner.

Both prosecutors Katice Janeva and Lile Stefanova were mentioned in the video footage and recordings of conversations released by the online edition of Italian newspaper La Verità, in connection with “Racket” and “Empire” cases.
