Stefanova authorized to prosecute the “Empire” case
State Public Prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski has authorized Lile Stefanova to continue as prosecutor in the case dubbed “Empire”, said the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Prosecutor Stefanova was a prosecutor in the Special Prosecutor’s Office – SPO, which cases have been taken over by the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The “Empire” investigation involves 13 people, who are suspected of criminal association, damage or privilege of creditors, abuse of office, fraud and money laundering, and other crime proceeds.
