SPO freezes VMRO-DPMNE’s entire property

At the request of the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office, a judge of the Basic Court Skopje 1 issued a decision imposing a temporary measure for freezing property of the political party VMRO-DPMNE. The measure has frozen a total of 69 real estate properties, including the building where the party’s headquarters are located, the SPO said.

This measure prohibits the alienation of the particular property as well as the leasing of the property. The actions were taken within the framework of the “Talir” case, since it is probable that the same property will be alienated until the completion of the procedure, the SPO explained.
This measure comes after VMRO-DPMNE’s president Hristijan Mickoski announced that the party is considering selling the headquarters in downtown Skopje or renting it.
