Special Prosecutor Janeva: Milososki cannot negotiate on SPO law
There are positive signals that the Law on the Public Prosecutor’s Office will be adopted very soon and we will see how the Special Prosecutor’s Office fits into it, said Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva.
“The international community is giving clear guidelines, also the ruling authorities, but not the opposition, which is personally concerned,” prosecutor Janeva told reporters.
He added that persons under investigation cannot negotiate about the law and give statements about the SPO and herself, in reference to VMRO-DPMNE MP Antonio Milososki.
Prosecutor Janeva also said she has ordered an investigation of the wiretapped conversations released on Facebook by “El Cheko” in recent days, involving DUI officials.
Asked if these were the same conversations that the SPO had in its possession, Janeva said some were but the investigation would give a clear picture on the issue.
