Skopje court rejects detention appeals of 7 people involved in Parliament’s storming

The Skopje Appellate Court at a closed session on Monday rejected  seven more appeals, calling them ‘groundless’, against the detention of suspects for terrorism and constitutional enlargement in connection to the events of 27 April 2017 in Parliament.

Under the ruling, seven people – Ivan Cvetanovski, Abduljafet Alimi, Ljuben Arnaudov, Jane Cento, Johan Tarculovski, Saso Vasilevski and Elena Docevska – remain in detention, the Skopje court said in a statement.

Last week, the Appellate Court decided to reject ‘baseless’ appeals against the detention measure for eleven men, who are suspected of being involved in the storming of Parliament in April last year.
