Serbia and Macedonia make progress in advancing political dialogue, overall relations

The EU-integration, Western Balkans’ stability and economic prosperity are common objectives of Serbia and Macedonia and the bilateral cooperation in their realization is the key of good-neighborly relations, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Ambassador Vera Jovanovska – Tipko agreed Monday in Belgrade.

The two countries have been making progress in advancing the political dialogue and overall relations, which is a result of numerous high-level meetings, Serbian PM Brnabic and Macedonian Ambassador to the country Jovanovska-Tipko concluded. They also believe that the joint sessions of the governments of both countries yield positive results, saying that another one is scheduled to take place in the first sixth months of this year.

A realization of joint projects, Brnabic said, will allow the two countries to present themselves on third markets, which will create jobs and bring prosperity. The two countries, she said, have been cooperating already in the spheres of economy, tourism, science, education, technology and culture.

Jovanovska-Tipko, who was paying a farewell visit to Brnabic, underlined the significance of completing the part of Corridor X, running through Macedonia and Serbia, as well as the trans-border cooperation agreement.
