Raufi: This is a framed case

After the protest about the ‘Almir Aliu” case, lawyer Naser Raufi stated for “Nezavisen/Independent” that the process was framed and needs to be brought to back on trial, the appointed judges need to be from other cities in the country, not the city of Kumanovo.

“Except for my optimism that the trial will be repeated, I am sure that this case has been framed and we have seen its epilogue. According to the facts presented by the lawyers, I think the truth will eventually be brought to light. This case cannot just be closed without taking the evidence of Almir’s lawyers into account, and I think that this trial will be repeated. However, this case should not be conducted by judges from Kumanovo, but to be delegated judge who will be objective,” said Raufi.
