“Racket” case: Businessman Siljan Micevski questioned for the second time

Following the questioning of TV host Lila Filipovska, businessman Siljan Micevski came to the Prosecutor’s Office for fighting organized crime and corruption, after he was also summoned for questioning over the “Racket” case. Before entering the Prosecutor’s Office, Micevski told reporters that this was his second visit, adding that he didn’t transfer the 720,000 euros to the bank account of retired Liljana Todorovska, but to the ‘International Union’. The businessman will demand a refund from the ‘Union’.
Previously, TV host Lila Filipovska was questioned for over an hour. After the questioning ended, she did not answer a single question and greeted reporters with “Bye, guys” and with blew a kiss.
Lila Filipovska is a close friend of Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 and have often been together at various events and travelled together. Filipovska did not answer whether she was in the car with Boki 13 when he was detained at the Bogorodica border crossing, and whether there was a bag of cash, or whether she visited him at the Shutka detention center, where Boki 13 is serving his second 30-day detention order. Asked whether she borrowed money from Boki 13, she just smiled.
Aside from Boki 13, Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva and businessman Zoran Mileski – Kicheec are also suspects in the “Racket” case. All three are in detention.
VMRO-DPMNE noted that the 5th month of the investigation into the “Racket” case had begun, and only Boki’s less important associates were called for questioning.
“5 months have passed, and Vilma Ruskovska still protects the involved politicians of the government and doesn’t summon them for questioning,” said VMRO-DPMNE.
“When and whether does Vilma Ruskovska plan to summon Zoran Zaev, Kiki and Friki, Sheki and everyone else from the ‘International Union’ for questioning? Where is the bag of money that Boki 13 took? – asks VMRO-DPMNE and adds that Vilma Ruskovska has no intention of solving the “Racket” case.
Siljan Micevski was mayor of Bitola from 1996 to 2000 from the SDSM ranks, but turned his back on the party after he and his wife Violeta Micevska were detained at the Bitola Investigative Prison following the disclosure of the “TAT” affair in 1997. Micevski was acquitted of all charges of his involvement in the “TAT” affair and instituted damages proceedings against the state. His voice was also heard in the so-called “bombs” released by SDSM. In one audio recording, a conversation could be heard between businessman Siljan Micevski, owner of the Pelister Construction Company, and Vlatko Chingoski, the former ELEM director, with Chingovski asking Micevski to make a list of employees who refused to vote, so they could fire them later.
