President Ivanov wins World Best Leader in New Generation Investing award

Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov received late Monday the award “The Best Leader of the World Investing in the New Generation” on presentation of School of Young Leaders as 2017 best socially responsible project in Europe by World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF).

Ivanov in his address said that the goal of the School of Young Leaders is to give the most talented and successful young people from Macedonia what they cannot obtain within official educational system.

He added that the School of Young Leaders, funded by private sector, is an example of a public-private partnership which invests in society and the future, Ivanov’s Office said in a press release.

Ivanov was accompanied by his wife Maja Ivanova at the award presentation ceremony.

Over 320 young people from Macedonia and the region as well as over 180 top world lecturers in the field of politics, business, innovation, communications have participated in the School of Young Leaders, which is Ivanov’s personal initiative and project held under his auspices.
