Pope Francis visits Mother Teresa statue in Skopje

Pope Francis prayed and laid flowers before the statue of Mother Teresa. He then greeted a number of poor people assisted by Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity.

The Pope met with religious leaders from the various confessions present in the country in the Mother Teresa Memorial.

A Holy Mass is to be held in Macedonia Square, which is to be attended more than 15.000 people from the country and abroad.
