PM Zaev at Western Balkans Investment Summit in London


 Prime Minister Zoran Zaev accompanied by a Government delegation takes part at a Western Balkans Investment Summit in London on Monday.

The investment summit organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) brings together heads of government of Western Balkans states, who will present the investment potentials before 200 representatives of companies interested in enlarging their operations in the region.

The summit focuses on projects in the fields of transport and energy as the key regional bottlenecks. It includes three sessions discussing “Regional Transport Connectivity”, “Sustainable Regional Energy Model” and “Soft Connectivity Agenda for the Western Balkans”.

The third Western Balkans Investment Summit will be opened by EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti, the Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, whose country is currently holding the EU Presidency, and the Rt Hon Matt Hancock, UK Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
