Pavlopoulos: We will not accept any voluntary interpretation of the Prespa Agreement


We will not accept any voluntary interpretation of the Prespa Agreement prior to its ratification, said Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos at a meeting with Slovenian counterpart Borut Pahor, MIA reports from Athens.

“We are not prepared to accept voluntary interpretations of the Prespa Agreement, even more when they radiate with irredentism, prior to its ratification. The neighboring country needs to be very cautious, because nothing is done yet,” said Pavlopoulos.

The Greek President reiterated his positions on the the national issues while the Slovenian Head of State referred to the Western Balkans.

Slovenian President Borut Pahor, at the invitation of his Greek counterpart, is on a two-day official visit to Greece.
