Parliament reconvenes, elects Deputy Speakers


Parliament is to reconvene Tuesday after two-week break and is to hold the second continuation of 26th session followed by the 34th session.

MPs during the 34th session will discuss the proposal for the election of Parliament Deputy Speakers, submitted by a group of MPs, draft decision on publishing a vacancy announcement for the election of the president, vice president and six members of the State Election Commission (SEC), the proposal for dismissal of the president and SEC members.

The session will also include draft law on ratification of the amendments to the Convention concerning International Carriage by Rail of 9 May 1980 contained in the Protocol of 3 June 1999, draft law on ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Government of the Republic of Serbia for cooperation in the field of tourism, etc.

Draft-law amending the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance is on the agenda of the continuation of the 26th session.
