North Macedonia’s army and NATO start “Decisive Strike” military exercise

“Decisive Strike” military exercise has started today in the Krivolak military base in the suburbs of Skopje. 1700 soldiers are participating in this joint exercise between North Macedonia’s armed forces and soldiers from NATO member countries.

Decisive Strike is the biggest exercise ever held in the country and this exercise will last until 9 July. The majority of NATO soldiers, around 1300 of them come from the US, while the others come from other NATO member countries: Montenegro with 75, Lithuania with 10, Bulgaria and Albania with 25 soldiers each. This drill will see training of troops in special operations scenarios carried out by member countries.
