MP of SYRIZA addressed the Greek Parliament in Macedonian
The MP from SYRIZA, Georgios Oursouzidis, addressed the Greek Parliament in Macedonian, that is, the Kostur dialect. He gave support to the agreement between Macedonia and Greece for resolving the name dispute.
Oursouzidis, who originates from northern Greece, after the message was given from the rostrum in Macedonian language, that is, in the Kostur dialect, he then translated it into Greek.
Oursouzidis said it was time to leave behind not dividing us and looking ahead.
– Friends from the Republic of North Macedonia, as we understand, it’s time to leave everything that separates us and see ahead of what represents a mutual friendship, sisterhood and love, Oursouzidis said in Macedonian.
His speech was greeted with applause by some of the deputies.
