Mancevski: Strong institutions and companies for full digital transformation

For full digital transformation, and bringing Macedonia closer to the European Union, not only do we need strong institutions, but also a strong private sector, strong companies that will work with us in this field.
This was pointed out by the Minister of Information Society and Administration Damjan Mancevski at the opening of the panel “What will bring the digital transformation in the everyday life of the business”, as part of the “Summit of Small Countries – New Business Trends” held today in Skopje Ministry of Information Society and Administration (MISA).

In the creation of ongoing activities, as well as future plans of MISA, Mancevski pointed out, ICT companies are actively involved.
The goal, as he stated, is to bring the services closer to the citizens and to fully digitize the processes and services.

Digitization and ICT reform in the Western Balkans is currently one of the priorities of the European Commission. By establishing a single digital market from all WB6 countries, it is expected to contribute to the development of the digital society, but also to economic growth in the region, increasing innovation, systemic administration reforms and institutions. This will contribute to increasing and improving the quality of life of citizens in all spheres, said Manchevski.
