Kotzias to unveil declassified name issue documents in Parliament

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias has ordered the declassification of some 30 confidential documents in connection to the name negotiations before reveling them Saturday at a debate in Parliament, Greek media report citing government sources.

The information hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. The documents will reportedly shine a light on how former Greek administrations had negotiated, what they had agreed upon and what they had proposed, MIA reports from Athens.

The Greek minister has been giving interviews lately in which he accuses former ruling parties of having negotiated in the past with far more softened positions over the name issue. The document will reveal just that, he has said.
