Kotzias to meet Bushati in Tirana before name talks in Vienna


Following the authorisation by the Albanian President Ilir Meta to the (Albanian) Foreign Ministry and the commission negotiating the demarcation of the EEZ between Greece and Albania, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will stop in Tirana shortly, before going to Vienna where he will meet with Nikola Dimitrov and Matthew Nimetz.

Kotzias and Bushati will have extensive discussions on bilateral issues as well as on the technical details of outstanding issues between the two countries that are not yet resolved. Also, the  visit of Greek Prime Minister to Albania will be scheduled for his meeting with his Albanian counterpart Edi Rama, when a series of agreements will be signed between the two states. Agreements that will erase suspicion between them and that help boost bilateral relations at the same time helping the European course of Albania.

The Greek Foreign Minister will then go to Vienna where he will meet with his Macedonian counterpart Nikola Dimitrov and the UN Special Envoy Matthew Nimetz on Friday…. / IBNA
