Hearings of “Tenders” and “Transporter” cases

The hearings in Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO) cases “Tenders” and “Transporter” are scheduled for Wednesday in Skopje-based Criminal Court.

“Tenders” case relates to the construction of the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle for Sovereignty and Independence in Skopje, where the prime suspect is former Minister of Culture Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska.

The Appeal Court in Skopje on November 2017 accepted the appeal lodged by the Special Prosecutor’s Office and decided wiretapped conversations to be used in the trial of “Tenders” case.

Former Bitola Mayor Vladimir Taleski and 20 other individuals have been charged in the “Transporter” case for abuse of budget money amounting to €360,000 for organising bus transport of students in Bitola. Previous two hearings were postponed.
