Gruevski about the WikiLeaks document: Vain attempts and nonsense

Former Prime Minister and leader of VMRO-DPMNE Nikola Gruevski described as “vain attempts” and “nonsense” the information published by WikiLeaks, stating that in 2008, when he was leading the government, the Macedonian authorities accepted the name “Republic Northern Macedonia “.

– These are vain attempts of the government, and there are likely to be many more. They are campaigning now and we will be listening to various nonsense. It’s clear why I’m in court and why this classic political persecution and torture is happening to me. If I agreed with the Greeks, they would sing a different tune, I am a man of principles and dignity, Gruevski said at a press conference in the Parliament of Macedonia.
