Greek Parliament to ratify the Prespa Agreement Thursday evening


The debate in the Greek parliament for the ratification of the Prespa Agreement begins on Wednesday at 10 am local time, and the vote will be on Thursday evening, sources from the Greek parliament said.

This was decided at a meeting of the Greek Parliament Speaker with his deputies.

According to the same sources, the plenary session on Wednesday and Thursday will start at 10:00h local time. It could last until 02:00-03:00 after midnight, depending on the number of MPs that will take part in the debate.

On Monday, the committee on national defense and foreign affairs will convene at 05:00 p.m. local time to review the draft-law ratifying and enforcing the Prespa Agreement. If necessary, the committee will also hold a session on Tuesday.
