Government sources: All name options are still in play

All options regarding the name issue are still in play, MIA learns from the Government.

According to the sources, none of the name proposals is favored and discussions are ongoing.

The date of the crucial meeting between prime ministers Zaev and Tsipras will be specified in the coming days.

According to the same source, the final stage of the process will begin with a vote on the agreement in the Macedonian Parliament, followed by Greece notifying NATO over its approval of Macedonia’s accession to the Alliance.

Next comes the date for the start of EU accession talks at the European Council meeting on June 28-29 and the official NATO membership invitation at the July 11-12 summit in Brussels.
