Government promises legal changes to reduce enforcement charges

The Government has formed a working group tasked to draft legal changes for reduction of overall fees of enforcement court decisions. The group will be led by Deputy PM and Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski including representatives from the relevant sectors of justice, finance, labour and social policy.

PM Zoran Zaev told that 42 tariffs in the enforcement services are to be reduced, the extra legal fees will be excluded and the utility bills will be claimed by the enterprises.

“I am convinced that we can succeed. If we work hard, we can find a solution to such difficult problems. Also public notaries and the state should also annul portion of their revenues. Many of our citizens have problems even for debts from 2003, 2007, with high interest rates,” Zaev said at a Tuesday’s press briefing after the session of the Economic Social Council.
