Dimitrov, who is paying working visit to Berlin, said on Facebook that the next two days are crucial to the country’s European prospects.
“The next two days, key meetings for our European perspective! We have arguments on reform and neighbourly relations. Our success will be a success both for the region and for the EU. I’m convinced about this, and I will convince all interlocutors in Berlin,” FM Dimitrov said in the message posted on Facebook.
Minister Dimitrov at the meetings with German officials will brief on country’s progress in European integration process.
Deputy PM Bujar Osmani will join FM Dimitrov on Wednesday for a joint briefing before the Bundestag Committee on EU Affairs, presenting the country’s progress and preparedness for the start of Union accession negotiations in light of the Council summit in June, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
On Tuesday, Dimitrov will also meet with members of the German Bundestag, including the Christian Democratic Union (CDU)/Christian Social Union (CSU) Foreign Affairs Working Group, as well as representatives of the Office of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Moreover, Dimitrov will meet Minister of State for Europe at the German Federal Foreign Office, Michael Roth and CDU leader Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer.
