Fire breaks out at Justice Ministry building, no one injured


Nobody is injured in a fire that broke out Tuesday afternoon at the Ministry of Justice.

The fire, which is already extinguished, has ruined three offices on the fourth floor of the building and also damaged the surrounding rooms, Skopje City Fire Brigade Commander Zvonko Tomevski said.

The fire alarm system went off at 16:30h followed by an urgent evacuation of those present in the building, Deputy Justice Minister Oliver Ristovski said.

Ten vehicles and 25 firemen took part in firefighting operation. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
