EU supports local projects in Bitola
EU Ambassador Samuel Zbogar visited Bitola on Thursday to oversee the implementation of three EU-funded projects, which involve early childhood care, innovative zoo garden and the Cross Border Stem Cell Regenerative Medicine Center.
During his visit to Bitola, Zbogar said the EU would support other projects, presented by the city’s mayor Natasa Petrovska.
“The perspectives of our city and those of Macedonia are openness and constant communication. EU’s support for our municipality is selfless,” said Petrovska after her meeting with the Head of the EU Delegation to Macedonia.
According to Zbogar, the Municipality of Bitola is an important partner for cooperation and as a result the EU will continue to financially support local projects.
Moreover, Ambassador Zbogar presented Mayor Petrovska with a certificate of appreciation as a sign of acknowledgement of the mutual cooperation and support between the EU and Bitola.
