Defective brakes and driving above the permissible speed limit are the main causes of the tragic bus accident that happened at the village of Laskarci, and Public Prosecutor’s Office Skopje launched a probe against seven people who were detained.

Public Prosecutor Sasho Rajcev at today’s press conference said that the Public Prosecutor’s Office Skopje will seek detention order against them and be given precautionary measures.

“The expert report shows that the main cause of the accident was the malfunctioning braking device and higher driving speed above permissible limit, resulting in the loss of control over the bus.
