"These are issues that are not minor, which FYROM has insisted upon to date. The ball is now in their court," Katrougalos said, adding: "For us these issues are essential and prerequisites for a solution; the other side must make the necessary concessions," explained Katrougalos.
Katrougalos reiterated his position that erga omnes is necessary for not leaving any tail ends in the future.
"We want the revision of the Constitution so that the solution is permanent and the erga omnes [clause] so we don't leave any tail ends that may create prospects of irredentism in the future. Both are necessary, therefore, even if for different reasons," he said.
