Round table on cooperation between foreign companies and local suppliers
The Foreign Investors Council and the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, together with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Skopje are launching the joint project on strengthening the backward linkages between foreign companies and local suppliers in order to enhance the competitiveness of the overall national economy.

The Foreign Investors Council organizes Wednesday a round table that should identify the expectations and the needs of the foreign investors towards domestic suppliers for enhanced cooperation.

The overall objective of the project is to improve the performances of certain local companies in order to elevate their competitiveness and abilities for better cooperation with the foreign investors in the country and ultimately getting introduced to their local supply chains.

The 24-month lasting project is financed by the EU funds under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), will be implemented in partnership with the Vienna University of Technology - Institute of Management Science and is supported by the Macedonian Government.

Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Koco Angjusev, President of the Foreign Investors Council Stefan Peter, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Darko Danev and leading partner and professor of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Robert Minovski are to address the round table.
