Branko Naumoski to vote ‘for’ the name agreement

Former President of the Constitutional Court and First Ombudsman Branko Naumoski will vote “for” in the upcoming referendum on the agreement with Greece. In a letter to the public, he says that following the debates, speeches and statements in the media by some professors, politicians, analysts, experts and others, he could not refrain from speaking publicly and expressing his position as an actor of several state-public functions.

“Dear citizens, I have no dilemma and will proudly go out and I will give my vote ‘for’. And I, like most citizens, am not the happiest with some of the provisions of the agreement with Greece, but having in mind our troubles and problems, economic, security and political and other turbulence, in the past period since independence, to date, I most responsibly claim that this is unique the most optimal and most rational solution to the future of our country, and that is the Euro-Atlantic integration. On this occasion, I would like to invite all those manipulators, individuals spreading disinformation, quasi-politicians and quasi-patriots and various experts and quasi-analysts, who from politicians, analysts and experts, from lucrative and clientele motives, ceased to manipulate and misinform the citizens by calling for a boycott, under the veil that the deal is harmful and manipulative. And at least once, instead of for their own and others’ interests, let us do something for our country”, Naumoski called.
