Bosnjakovski: The SPO will continue to operate

The Special Prosecutor’s Office is not closing down but continue to operate, Government Spokesman Mile Bosnjakovski said today at a press conference.

Spokesperson Bosnjakovski told reporters that talks with the opposition over the law on the public prosecutor’s office are not secret and Justice Minister Renata Deskoska is always available for details.

“We are not writing the law for our sake but for the sake of the people,” added Bosnjakovski.

According to him, the Government aims to achieve a two-thirds majority in Parliament, so that the law’s adoption speeds up the country’s EU path.

“This is one of the reform laws that EU expects us to adopt by reaching a mutual solution,” noted Bosnjakovski.
