Boskoski requests the court to have the lawyers asking him normal questions

After the break, the court hearing for Tortura continued with the cross-examination of the damaged Ljube Boskoski by the defendants’ lawyers.

Lawyer Ljupco Svrgovski asked Boskoski if he had read the decree on arresting suspected criminals as a former interior minister.

Boskoski, however, responded to Svrgovski with a counter-question whether he, as a former state prosecutor, knows the arrest warrant. The damaged Boskoski requested the Court to have normal questions directed at him.

Before the cross-examination began, Svrgovski’s lawyer from the court asked Boskoski, in addition to cross-examination, to be directly questioned at the next hearing.

On this request, Boskoski’s prosecutors and lawyer Konstantin Kartotovaliev, who asked the court to take into account the rights of the victim, objected to this request, because this case has the sublimation of the person victim-witness.

Judge Alexandra Risteska said that at this moment she will not decide on the request and proceed with the cross-examination by the defendant’s lawyer.
