Angjusev: New investments in Bunardzik zone

Vice Premier for Economic Affairs Koco Angjusev announced Sunday a couple of new investments in Technological-Industrial Development Zone Skopje 1-Bunardzik in the amount of EUR 11 million.

“The economic advice committee has given a recommendation to the Government over the endorsement of state support agreements for investments of Zenith International Product from the United Arab Emirates worth EUR 3 million, which is set to manufacture water heaters, and Turkish company Balkan Plastik of the plastic and mould industry, an investment worth EUR 8 million,” Vice Premier Angjusev told a press conference.

Both plants are set to open about 80 jobs each.

Angjusev added that available data and the methodology applied by the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia show that EUR 235 million-worth of foreign direct investments have entered into Macedonia in Q1 of 2018, which represents a record amount for the past 12 years.
