Ambassador Divjak Tomic: Serbia supports any name solution agreed by Macedonia and Greece

Serbia wants to see the name dispute between Macedonia and Greece settled and it will support any solution agreed by the two countries, Serbian Ambassador to Macedonia Dusanka Divjak Tomic said Wednesday.

“Serbia wishes Macedonia all the best since it is its close neighbor and a traditional friend. We sincerely hope the issue between Macedonia and Greece will be resolved paving the way for the whole region to make progress and to seize the historic opportunity noted in the EU’s Western Balkans Strategy, i.e. EU membership,” Ambassador Divjak Tomic told reporters in Bitola.
