Тop officials meet VMRО-DPMNE and DUI leaders

President Gjorge Ivanov, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi and VMRO-DPMNE and DUI leaders, Nikola Gruevski and Ali Ahmeti respectively, held late Thursday a meeting over current developments in Macedonia.

Discussions tackled the ways to get out of the current state of tensions in the country, which causes concern among citizens, the President’s Office says in a press release.

“Interlocutors agreed on the necessity for all stakeholders in society to focus on building consensus for national dialogue, towards reconciliation and bringing political processes back to normal, as basis for continuation of Macedonia’s reform priorities”, reads the press release.

The President’s Office adds that discussions on these issues will resume in the future.
